Ds3 knight change dexture build5/24/2023 ![]() Those are just a few to help get you started. Great Corvian Scythe (Lot of lesser known combos)Īstora Greatsword/Lothric Knight Greatsword (Astora is lighter and has the strong (But easy to parry) Charge WA, LKGS has the Stomp WA, higher damage)Ĭrow Quills (Another twin weapon, with a lot of combos and tricks to their use well worth looking into) Lothric Knight Long Spear (Excellent range and damage, and boosts your poise, making it a great, if weight intensive, secondary to a poise weapon) Lothric Knight Sword/Long Sword (Long Sword has slightly more AR, Lothric Knight Sword has better range and an arguably better moveset)Ĭlaymore (Solid Greatsword, high damage, reliable and versatile) Short Bow/White Birch Bow (Has the roll/running quickshot) Murakumo (Excellent and well balanced moveset with solid range, damage and speed)įalchion/Scimitar (Scimitar is faster, Falchion has more damage and a potential 3-hit) Pair this with a Bloodborne dodge mod to drastically change the feel of Dark Souls 3's combat. It's astounding that this mod can even exist in Dark Souls 3's engine, but here we are. Essentially Gael's Greatsword for the DEX build) This mod adds certain transformable trick weapons from that game to Dark Souls 3, complete with animations used in Bloodborne. Lucerne (3-Hit combo, high damage, pure thrust damage and it's a poise weapon. Gotthard Twinswords/Onikiri & Ubadachi (While the Sellsword Twinblades are about the best PvE weapons in the game, I personally recommend these two twin weapons over them for PvP, with O&U having potential 3-hit combo and innate bleed, and Gotthard having the longest Straight Sword range, an unparryable WA, lots of poke attacks great for the Leo Ring) Yes it is fine, however, I HIGHLY suggest you start with Mercenary, who has the required Dex to wield the Uchigatana which you can get in the first area of. Stats can be adjusted to suit tastes (Less VIG or END for more VIT, for example).Īs for weapons, you've got many options, some of which I recommend for PvP are: Used with the Prisoner's Chain and the Ring of Favor (Ideally +3) You'll have plenty of VIG, END and VIT, enough STR to equip the Black Knight Shield and 1-hand the Washing Pole if desired, and 80 DEX is all you're going to need. So if you wanna be a knight in sense "guy with a kite shield and one-handed sword" then quality build is your best bet.For the Knight starting class (Most versatile for melee builds): The stuff in the middle tends to scale with both stats at once. Only the really heavy weapons have just str scaling and mostly light stuff like daggers (and some katanas/rapiers) have mainly Dex scaling. Most "medium" weapons like longswords scale like that. So having 30/30 str/dex you will do more damage than having just 60 str on said weapon for example. Some weapons have those letters on both Str adn Dex stat. This tells you how well the bonus damage of the weapon (the +X after base damage number) will scale with said stat. There's letters above the stat requirement number from (S)A to E (A being the best). You can put some lebes in int and faith to cast some buffs. Get to 27 vig and 19 end, then 40/40 in dex and str, then keep leveling vig and end. Get a refined broadsword, 60 str and 60 dex. Originally posted by Mister Shan:I'm still pretty confused.what does dexterity do exactly? Where should I focus my points? Just drop them all in str and stamina? But then just use infusion for dps?i also use a shield, where do I put points for that? Later in the game, very later in the game.
